Doesn't look likely, and if they aren't going to put a decent effort into it, they shouldn't try at all.

Hasn't ANet already said they weren't doing any more chapters? I wouldn't be surprised by another bonus update, like Sorrows, but nothing to pay for until GW2 comes out.
Why is this in the Lore section? :P

Well, from reading PC Gamer, Campaign 4 was supposed to be GW: Utopia.
It featured Meso-American inspired landscapes. It looked rather cool.
Perhaps another expansion could elaborate on it rather than just touch on it with similar landscapes along the Tarnished Coast.

Anyone know if GW2 will still be free to play online?

Yes, unless there are big changes at ANet. It was in the original announcement that GW2 would remain subscription-free.

You have to let go eventually you know.
(I enjoy the concept of the 'Eternal Hero' created by Michael Moorecock. One spirit that inhabits different bodies through time and space, ultimately serving the highest powers of Balance in the multiverse. Thats why my main character has been Ischade for the last 25 years or so... same spirit, different world.)

Damn.. I would have really enjoyed that. Hopefully they can incorporate some of that into GW2.

I bet the best parts of those ideas were already used with the Asura.
Depending on how the Bonus Missions go down, we may see more of that type of thing.

I agree - Asuran styles (and Silver eagle armor too) remind me quite a bit of that

Oooh, Meso-America. That would have been really fantastic to do. (Of course, I spent a summer doing fieldwork in Belieze at Mayan ruins, so I'd say that.) The architecture is incredible and there's a lot of cultural potential, especially for some classes (Necromancers I'm looking at you!) Warriors and Dervishes and Paragons could likely have benefited too.
